Portable Norton Ghost 11.0
As an IT technician, reformat & reinstalling Windows rapidly could be wasting times. If you’re handling 10 or more PC in your office , HDD cloning will come pretty handy. Mostly, all of those computers will have some similarity in hardware such as type of motherboard, chipset, PCI cards and so on. With single image, deploying those PC could be done easily.
Are you new to this? If yes, ask for help from an experience Norton Ghost user. This package included with Ghost32(Win Mode), Ghost(DOS Mode), Ghost Cast Server & Ghost Explorer. For better results, I’ll suggest you combine these tools with Hiren BootCD 9.3

I want to know how to clone C drive when logged in as a user without admn privileges (as Ghost software also needs to be installed in computer). I tried to change admn password by net user adm.. *** but in vain. The system is havng no CD/Floppy drive, only USB drive is there. Purpose is to install win xp on another comp so that no need to install all the softwares other than OS.

Hi Prakash … for cloning purpose, there’s no need to install norton ghost into your system…in your situation, i’ll recommend you to get a cd-rom drive to accomplish this task.1stly,boot Hiren Boot CD (latest version 9.6) from cd-rom drive then start cloning and select Cloning >> Norton Ghost tool.if you intend to clone hdd (1st PC)to hdd (2nd PC), make sure both of them using the same motherboard n chipsets, otherwise it will fail to boot on your 2nd PC.

For those of you still having difficulty extracting the \ghost-2003-bootdisk.exe\ file, the password is \http://tech-shinobi.com\. (without the quotes).
Admin, nearly had it right but left out the http:// part in the password.
Nice tools by the way!

Hie m8..
Ur blog is just what im looking for in my troubled times
I have a question though.. on tutorial 4 on how to restore from an image to a HDD.
I have a .GHO image of Windows XP on a partion on my laptop (i have 3 partitions, C,D&E, Image is in partiton E). My goal, if possible, is to format only partition C & D, and reinstalling Windows XP from the Ghost Image in partition E.
Could u if possible teach me the simplest method of how i can do this using ur programs above. Do i still need to copy the Ghost Image to a Bootable USB Devise? I do not have a DVD burner, only CD. The Image file of my XP is 3.81GB. I read somewhere earlier saying that the USB Bootdevise that is use cannot contain any other data that i want as it would be wiped out by the Ghost software.
So basicly my fren, Im kinda confused and i just want a simple method to do my task. Please help.
Thank you in advance.
